In more entertaining news, Dell Computers has run an ad which ridicules the comments made by Best Buy in a Wall Street Journal article on 8th November. The essence of these comments was that Best Buy considered 20% of it's customers to be "undesirable devils."
Dell, advertising it's web address as dell.com/bestbye, invites these customers to Dell, and promises: "We won't ask you to leave." That's a message all retailers ought to take to heart. We don't actually recommend buying the system being advertised, but we do love the 16ms FP2001 20" LCD (preferably at $599 on sale), and the occasional $750 coupon offers.
Maybe we are crafty devils.
