This news is a little late, but the Nokia 6680 has been announced and released in record time by Nokia. It should be available at your regular phone shop. The Nokia 6680 is a very heavy (133g) phone which is larger than the 7610 but smaller than the 6620. It includes a a 1.3 megapixel camera with a slide cover on it's back, and a VGA camera on it's front (chrome circle, top right) for video-conferencing. Like the Nokia 6630, it has a 233Mhz processor, and runs Symbian OS 8.0s, but it reportedly responds just a little slower. It supports DV-RSMMC, 3G, and bluetooth and has a 262K 208*176 pixel colour screen.

This is definitely Nokia's top-of-the-line Series 60 phone for the moment, and this is borne out by it's price. While it is difficult to generalize for a product sold almost everywhere in the world except the Americas, it is probably safe to say that the Nokia 6680 is priciest phone in it's category, irrespective of operating system; although this is possibly excusable because of it's higher resolution camera compared to the competition. (e.g. Treo 650, iMate Jam)
Except for videophone users, this is probably not a cost-effective upgrade for Nokia 6630 users. It is, however, a definite step up from the Nokia 6620, 6670, 7610 and 3230. However, the Nokia 6681/6682 is due to be released any time now, and that might prove to be a better upgrade for users of those phones, because it is likely to cost less but be functionally similar except for a lack of 3G support and a camera in front. Having said that, the 6680 is prettier.
The usual suspects do not seem to have reviewed the phone in any depth at the momement, the best coverage currently available is this first look by GSMArena.
Finally, while I say that the phone is heavy, it felt very good in my hands. I was contemplating getting one; that would allow me to create Nokia 6680 versions of my Nokia 7610 User Guide (alas, incomplete) and a new Symbian S60 Freeware Bundle, but it's cost is prohibitive for the moment. I wonder if Nokia releases review sets. ;)
