Russian site onlinder.by has published pictures of a black Nokia 8800; purportedly from an official Nokia presentation of the phone.
This would seem to be an obvious step, because the black Moto RAZR was a success, and it is clear that the current stainless steel version is a little too flashy.
However, treat this as rumour. If you were planning to buy a Nokia 8800 tomorrow, just go ahead. If, however, you're vacillating over the idea; perhaps it might be prudent to wait for a week for this to be either substantiated or refuted.
