Ooh. Look. This has nothing to do with mobile phones. ;)

It is, however, too cool not to talk about.

Japanese robotics and machineries manufacturer Sakakibara-Kikai has developed the world’s first bi-pedal exoskeleton. The 3.4m, one-ton robot walks at a speed of 1.5km/h, and is operated by four pedals in the cockpit. It seems to sit just one. Those mini-gun look-alikes are actually air guns which fire 30mm rubber balls, and you can buy the whole thing for 36 million yen + shipping. (USD 43,500)

Yes, it's SHIPPING NOW! (unlike the Nokia N91)

I was all set on a segway, then this comes along. I wonder if it's street legal.

Oh, and look below for a schematic diagram of the actual Empire AT-ST Scout Walker. I got it off a site called - Scout Walker: Kama Sutra. It's kinda like a precursor to The Brick Testament (unfortunately down at the moment).

And if you're in the mood for silly things, look at Zug; where John Hargrave chronicles certain pranks/gags/etc.
