Deleting Programs:

The normal method is to simply use the App. Manager. Select the application you want to delete, and follow the prompts.

Option 1 - FExplorer:
However, this sometimes does not work. In that case, you need to get FExplorer.

  1. Open FExplorer and goto the path/folder of the Application. This is likely to be Drive:\system\apps
  2. You will see folders labelled in numbers(for Java games/apps) or the name of the application. Open the text file in that folder to exactly know the name of the application in that particular folder if you dont see any icons or familiar name.
  3. When you find the correct folder, "move-out" of the folder and select Options | File | Delete.
  4. Open App. Manager and uninstall it if its still listed.

There may be some remnants, especially in system/libs, but this should be largely inconsequential.

Option 2 - Format the Phone:
If this does not work (which is almost impossible) you may elect to format your phone; which will eradicate the program if it was installed on the C: Drive. There are three methods to accomplish this, and each does a different sort of "formatting."

1. Repair Installation: Exit to standby and type (*#7780#), then enter your security code as requested. This restores ini files from ROM but preserves user data. This will not delete errant applications. The default security code 12345.

2. Re-Installation: Exit to standby and type (*#7370#), then enter your security code as requested. This completely formats the C: drive. The phone will be "as new." The default security code 12345.

3. Re-Installation: Turn phone off, press and hold the green (talk) key on the left, the 3 key, and the * key, then turn the phone back on. The phone will be "as new." The default security code 12345.

Option 3 - Format the RS MMC:
You may also elect to format your memory; which will eradicate the program if it was installed on the E: Drive.

I'm sure you know how to do this. The only thing you have to be sure of is to format as FAT. It might also be useful to use the smallest possible block to effectively increase usable space.
