Organizer:
In spite of being a Symbian phone, however, the Nokia 7610 still retains the excellent organizational capabilities of the series 40 Nokia phones. This includes total synchronization with Outlook (although in a previous firmware version a bug made everyone's birthday 1980), an alarm clock, and an easy calendar interface. It must be noted that there are some very slight issues with PC Suite Synchronization, which are dealt with in our User Guide; these will not affect most users.

Of course, now you can also choose any sound as your calendar alarm/alarm tone, and interestingly, Nokia has included a sound of a rooster crowing.
Theming:
As a part of this customizability, the Nokia is skinnable. This means that the backgrounds and icons can be changed, although in most cases the place each item is displayed cannot be changed. (i.e. the battery meter is always in the same place) This is a good idea, it maintains usability while allowing each user to create their own look. There are many free themes available online, and the software to create your own is also freely available. 6600 themes are completely compatible with the 7610.
