"Newest" in the line of Samsung D700-series phones is the D720, pictured on the left. Slashphone is reporting this as part of their coverage of 19 new Samsung mobile phones, which is pretty ironic considering it's been only a matter of days (5, exactly) since Samsung announced it's intention to show off fewer phones in 2005. This is at least the second "leak", two days ago information about three new concept phones were released, and the originating source is a mobile.review forum post which has since been deleted for possible legal reasons.
In any case, this is apparently the D720, and we don't really have high hopes for it's release, for several reasons ...

First: This is the third symbian device Samsung has been known to have prototyped. The previous two (D700 and D710) were not released, even though the second was even announced in a press release last year.
Second: This is not a press release.
Of course, if they do release it, it will be a good addition to the symbian S60 range of phones. It looks pretty pretty to me, even though i'm not quite sure of a directional keyboard of that size would work. Maybe if it was a touchpad device... (and hence very sensitive)
