Nokia recently released an all new version of PC Suite.
Look here for phone compatibility information; basically phones released post 2003 will work with PC Suite 6.5. With regard to Symbian devices, those with Symbian OS 7.0 and above are supported.
Definite changes include the icons, which are now all much prettier. Not quite Mac OS X standard, but as good as most Windows XP programs. I also had zero difficulties installing over PC Suite 6.4.8, and creating a new bluetooth connection and sync profile for my Nokia 7610 was painless. There seem to have been no fundemental changes in the programs, which work in the same way.
Aside from bug fixes, the PC Suite includes four new features. A "Get Connected Wizard" which helps the connection process, an enhanced "Connect to the Internet" option, and "Store images", which is synchronization for images/video. They all work well.
Possibly the mos the most technologically exciting new feature is the ability to have multiple bluetooth phones connected; it has been reported that a 7280 and a 6630 has be connected at the same time. Presumably this would work with any combination of phones.
All in all, a worthwhile upgrade... It's also free!
[Update: The "fourth" new feature was apparently available on 6.4.8 as well.]
