Nokia N90 Review at My-Symbian

Posted On: Sat, 23/07/2005 - 17:29 by Alex

The Nokia N90 has been reviewed over at My-Symbian. The highs are the 352x416 pixels (262K colours) screen and a 2MP Camera with autofocus; the lows are the size and weight - 112mm x 51mm x 24 mm and 173 g. They do give it a "highly recommended" rating, and apart from the size, it does appear that it deserves it. I will also note that while the camera looks pretty good from their example shots, it pales in comparison to the quality you can get from, say, a Panasonic FX-7. Plus the panasonic FX-7 is actually smaller and cheaper than the N90. I suppose the N90 is also Symbian 60 though... Moral: If you're buying a phone for it's camera alone - don't.

In any case, I personally cannot imagine carrying a phone that size around. A Nokia 6680 is about my limit, although when the Nokia N91 comes out I might have to get that as a replacement for my ipod (which I carry to work); but only if it has a 3.5mm plug so I can use my ER4P.

In any case, read the full Nokia N90 review here.
