GSM Arena has completed two reviews of the Nokia N90, one of the phone itself and another of the phone's camera.
While they were a little critical of the camera in the first review: Did Carl Zeiss fail?, they are far more enthusiastic about the camera in the second review.
Indeed, the conclusion seems to be that the N90 is one of the best phone cameras around. This is a very very safe conclusion, because it is only the 2nd phone with a >1.3MP sensor and autofocus to have been released worldwide. (The first is the Sony Ericsson K750i, the Samsung phones with 3MP and 5MP are available only in Korea).
It is also a little unfortunate that the "real" digital camera they used for comparison shots was so capable, there is no comparison between a 7.1MP dedicated digital camera and a 2MP integrated phone camera. For those people who are wondering if they can use the N90 to replace their existing, old 2MP digicams, I present, after the cut, a couple of amateur shots (i.e. mine) taken with a Nikon Coolpix 2500, a May 2002 (date of availability) camera.
